    All works on exhibition are group paintings by 6 – 8 people.
    Darryl’s Den is an inclusive, friendly Arts and Craft Studio that provides people with disability access to quality instructors, equipment, resources and materials. Experienced, supportive staff take into consideration the varying abilities and needs of their participants, whilst assisting in developing participants’ current arts and craft abilities and exploring new techniques and building new skills.

  • Queanbeyan and Palerang NSW Seniors Festival 2018

    In 2018 the festival will celebrate its 60th year! 

    The NSW Seniors Festival is an annual festival around NSW to celebrate the role seniors play and the contributions they make to the NSW Community. 

    During this annual festival there are hundreds of events and activities around NSW to inspire and give seniors the opportunity to remain active and engaged in their local communities.

    If you're a senior living in Queanbeyan-Palerang, there a number of ways you can get involved!

  • Queanbeyan Palerang Heritage Festival 2018

    Each year the festival provides many opportunities to celebrate the rich heritage and history of our region.
    The theme for this year’s festival 'My culture, my story' has been interpreted in a variety of ways to highlight the heritage of Queanbeyan and Palerang, and the many stories of the people who have contributed to the region during its long history. The annual Heritage Awards are announced during the Festival.

  • Southern Harvest Farmers Market at Queanbeyan

    Supported by Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council, the Southern Harvest Farmers Market at Queanbeyan is a truly regional farmers market.  
    There will be a range of fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, dairy, honey and meat producers; as well as value added products such as wine, olive oil, preserves, frozen meals, bread, cakes and confectionery.  All produce sold is grown or made by stallholders, and is from the Southern Harvest local region.

  • Queanbeyan Museum Open Day

    Queanbeyan Museum will explore the interactions between culture and history. You will see the embodiment of British culture in the story of the Museum building, read something of the Aboriginal culture which existed for centuries before the arrival of the Europeans, and see examples of the contributions of the post-World War 2 migrants. There will also be an opportunity to contribute your stories and share cultural experiences
